Talking to G this morning about the impending release of the Dr Who story 'Survival' reminded me just how good th efinal speech was;

Man, I love that.

I used to love the Sylvester McCoy Doctor. It's the only one I really remember, before this new series.
Maybe you can tell me; how exactly are they explaining the fact that the new companion was killed in that episode with the cybermen and the daleks? Or are they just hoping we don't notice?
